Lights, Camera, Action! Great Valley High School celebrated their prom night in style with a classy setup fit for Hollywood’s biggest stars here at Franklin Commons.

Our staff made sure Franklin Commons was dripping with elegance. Franklin Hall was the perfect spacious prom venue: high ceilings and wall-to-wall windows make the area larger than life.

Navy and white colors dotted the room, contrasting beautifully with the dark amber floor and copper ceiling lamps. Each table was decorated with flower centerpieces and white candles, adding classic charm to the decor. White flowers surrounded the room in romantic old-Hollywood fashion. We loved seeing the students Snapchat almost every corner of the hallway!

Registration began in the Art Gallery, and students later made their way to the picturesque Gazebo area to get their photos taken.

Our partners at Drexelbrook Catering served food fit for celebrities! As the venue filled up, the kids began munching on the first course; a light Chopped Salad featuring Garden Greens with Black Beans, Roasted Corn, Diced Tomatoes & Shredded Jack Cheese, served with Chipotle Ranch.

The international buffet opened soon after and was a hit. Plates were filled with Sauteed Green Beans and Mashed Yukon Potatoes, next to creamy Penne Pasta with Blush Sauce. The Buttermilk Dipped Boneless Chicken & Belgian Waffle served with Southern Pepper Gravy practically disappeared before our eyes!

Western classics were met with Eastern flavors. The Asian Beef Stir Fry with White Rice piled onto plates along with the very popular Pad Thai.

After dinner, students rushed to the Sundae Station to satisfy their sweet tooth, scooping up servings of Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream. The toppings were seemingly endless and included Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Cherries, Candies, Donut Holes and Vanilla Affogato.

Satisfied with all the food, it was finally time to dance the night away! We had a DJ Table set up on stage and students danced to all their favorite hits under colorful lights.

We had so much fun hosting Great Valley High’s prom, nobody wanted the night to end! We can’t wait to plan up another memorable prom for next year’s students.
