Bringing The Great Outdoors Inside With A Beautiful Fall Wedding

Rustic Fall WeddingWhen it comes to wedding trends, a Fall Wedding is definitely at the top of many modern brides’ lists. Just take one look at this gorgeous October nuptial and you’ll understand why!

Nicole and Derek celebrated their fall wedding on October 16, 2015 at Franklin Commons. From the personalized DIY touches to the beautiful color scheme, this was definitely an event for the books.

Shades of maroon, burnt orange, and dark yellow filled Franklin Hall, and were accented by scattered fallen leaves to bring the great outdoors inside to the guests.

The bride and groom came up with a very unique “guest book” idea. They set up two wooden cutouts of their home states. Within the maps were colorful bottle caps for their guests to sign. With all of the signed caps in place, the couple can hang the cutouts in their new home and remember their special day forever!

After the vows were exchanged, it was time to get the party started with cocktail hour. As delicious as the hors d’oeuvres were, the guests made sure to keep their appetites for the scrumptious dinner that followed.

The guests had a chance to dance off their dinners to beats spun by one of Silver Sounds’ expert DJs before the bride and groom cut their Nintendo-themed cake, custom-made especially for them by The Master’s Baker.

We were thrilled to be a part of Nicole and Derek’s special day, and are proud to add another successful fall wedding to our list!
