Tom and I both attended Bloomsburg University and met very unexpectedly through our college roommates one night when we were out. Our roommates were friends and randomly ran into each other that night and casually introduced us. The bar was very loud and crowded so we really didn’t get a chance to talk much, but in just the brief time I met Tom, I could tell something was different about him.
We both went home that night, and I didn’t think about it too much until we ran into each other again the next night, it was like it was meant to be. We just clicked and our personalities complemented each other perfectly, I kept him grounded and he pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. After graduation I moved to Tom’s hometown of Honesdale, and this is where we started our new careers and a life together. Fast forward 2 years, we decided to move to the West Norriton area, away from our friends and family, into a new house, and we began new jobs that offered us both more opportunities for growth in our careers. Near the end of that crazy year of change, Tom surprised me one night by taking me to Longwood Gardens to see all the lights around Christmas. It was freezing that night and we walked arm in arm, sipping hot chocolate, and right before we were getting ready to leave Tom pulled me off the path away from everyone and asked me the most important question anyone would ever ask me. It was one of the best nights of my life and a beautiful moment that I will never forget.
When Tom and I went to look at the Franklin Commons we immediately fell in love with the uniqueness and industrial feel of the space. Christina was our main contact person during the whole process and she was amazing! She helped us with so many details and quickly answered all of my never ending questions. She also went above and beyond and set up all of the decorations I made and everything looked perfect! Christina and the entire Drexelbrook staff were a pleasure to work with, and on our wedding day everyone there made us feel so special and made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. The food was also amazing and all of our guests raved about it. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for helping Tom and I pull off the wedding of our dreams!
