Rave Reviews
My wife and I got married at Franklin Commons in October. Our coordinator from Drexelbrook was Kim Savino.
We decided to do a short, four month engagement. As you can imagine, this added a lot of pressure to an already stressful process. After looking at a few locations, we chose Franklin Commons and had the pleasure of meeting Kim. From the first meeting, we began to feel more secure with our short timeline. Kim was very organized and after talking to us was able to compile a plan that would be perfect for us. We worked together over the four month period and she was always available through phone and email.
Leading up to the ceremony, we had nothing but rain. This was not going to be helpful for our outside ceremony. Kim went out of her way to make sure we had a contingency plan, just in case.
On the day of the ceremony, we had beautiful weather. We kept the original plan for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything went off without a problem. Kim kept on us the whole time, not aggressively, but more to just make sure we were alright and we didn’t need anything.
The Drexelbrook staff was amazing. They were all extremely pleasant and accommodating. The venue was unique in its style and fit us really well. The food was out of this world and everyone ate like kings! Even with this, none of the food ran out.
Overall, everything was perfect. It was an amazing day and our guests had a great time. Kim and the Drexebrook staff made the process as easy as possible. Almost a month later, and we’re still getting positive feedback from our family and friends!

The Franklin Commons was the perfect venue choice for us. Absolutely perfect for any couple seeking an alternative wedding venue with a lot of personality.
I (the bride) used to work for a music organization based there several years ago, but I had never realized they hosted weddings until I started planning my own. While the reception venue (Franklin Hall) may appear bare during the day, it really gives you a LOT of opportunity to express your personal taste through decor choice.
We really tried to utilize the venue’s unique character (industrial yet artsy) and color-scheme into our decorations, and the final product truly exceeded our expectations.
Unfortunately it rained all day (and several days prior to) during our wedding, but the staff of Drexelbrook, who operates out of Franklin Commons, was extremely accommodating and helpful transitioning the venue over. The food was incredible, the staff constantly friendly and attentive, and it ended up being the perfect day!
Finally, it is important to note how many compliments we received. Our guests were truly blown away. From the delicious food to the beautiful venue, our guests were raving about the wedding…. And they still are! Our photographer, especially, was so inspired by the venue. She said it was the best wedding shoot she’s had to date!
Thank you, Franklin Commons. Our day was amazing!

Franklin Commons and Drexelbrook Catering provided us with the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Kim Savino was our point of contact thought the entire process, and was available every second we needed her, making sure every detail we wanted was perfect – she was a delight. Going into our wedding night we were confident it would be great, but Franklin Commons exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of the night. I highly recommend Kim and her team.

As soon as we walked in to the venue we knew we wanted to get married there. You enter in through an art gallery that is alway changing, into a beautiful courtyard with sculptures. The courtyard is the perfect combination of interesting industrial architecture and soft and natural landscaping. The hall is a wonderfully light filled space with floor to ceiling windows looking out into the courtyard. Our guests loved the space and the food!
Plus, Kim and the staff are very helpful and accommodating.

We thank you for making Saturday so perfect. You were amazing through the whole planning process and the wedding day was flawless. When those bistro doors opened and I saw the hall for the first time with the sun shining through the big windows, it looked absolutely fantastic. Your staff went above and beyond to take care of us and our families.

We cannot even begin to thank you for providing the most wonderful wedding for Amanda and Doug. Everything far exceeded our expectations. We knew it would be wonderful, but it was so much more. We are getting so many wonderful emails and comments from everyone who was in attendance. The food was spectacular and we enjoyed the leftovers so much. It was a day that we will never forget and you and your wonderful staff made it all possible.

When we were looking for a location to have our reception one major criteria that we insisted on, was it had to be memorable. Everywhere we went it was the same old thing. A big fancy hall, and sometimes not so fancy, that was overpriced and just like the others. When we came to Franklin Commons we first noticed the unique artwork everywhere. The paintings and sculptures really made it stand out from the rest. When our guests arrived they all commented how great it was to walk the halls and look at all the artwork on the way to the reception. The staff really went above and beyond in many different ways, especially the night before our wedding. After our rehearsal dinner we asked if we could get in the hall to add some finishing touches. One member of the staff came out to meet us at the hall late at night. Franklin Hall also added another unique touch to our night. Since Franklin Hall is adjacent to the outside courtyard our guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside. The weather was perfect and it was the ideal place to be on a truly perfect day. As the night went on the sun set, and due to the large windows in Franklin Hall we had the perfect view of a beautiful sun set. We had plenty of sunlight with the beginning half of the night, and then as the sun set the party began and we danced the night away. If you are looking for a setting that is stylish, reasonably priced, and unlike anywhere else take a look at Franklin Commons.

Your staff was so discreet, I never even knew they were there. They took care of everything and the timing of the service was perfect! The place is absolutely amazing. The high ceilings, the glass roof, the windows all around the Hall and the Campus Walk, well that was my favorite part. The place was better than we would have ever expected.
